Audit Manager

About the role

The Audit Manager will lead financial audit engagements for GM Group Inc. based in Saint James, Barbados. This full‑time, on‑site role focuses on ensuring compliance with audit standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements while supporting the firm’s commitment to accuracy and integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and review financial audits across diverse client industries.
• Lead audit engagements, assess internal controls, and evaluate financial statements.
• Identify audit risks, develop recommendations, and prepare clear, well‑structured audit reports.
• Supervise and mentor audit team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Coordinate with clients to clarify findings and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to support process‑improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of audit methodologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong finance and accounting background with solid understanding of reporting standards.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent.
• Several years of progressive audit experience, preferably in public accounting or corporate audit.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Commitment to ethical conduct and continuous professional development.
