Shop Floor Assistant

About the role

The Shop Floor Assistant ensures that merchandise is presented to the highest standard, maintains hygiene and food safety, and supports the smooth operation of the store.

Key responsibilities

• Merchandise, rotate and face off all stock in the assigned department while upholding hygiene and food standards.
• Process orders for various departments and implement correct labeling and stock rotation procedures.
• Liaise with the Store Manager on layout changes, ends and sides, and ensure they are correctly implemented.
• Check deliveries against goods‑in procedures and keep the back‑store tidy and organized.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible.
• Ability to use own initiative and work effectively as part of a team.
