General Manager – Caribbean Region

About the role

Inchcape is seeking a General Manager to lead its Caribbean operations from Barbados. You will shape strategy, drive growth across sales and aftersales, and ensure the business meets its financial targets while supporting a low‑carbon, sustainable future.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and implement growth strategies for distribution (sales and aftersales) and retail business to achieve revenue, market share and profit before tax (PBT) targets.
• Define the business model for Puerto Rico and expand the OBM and motorcycle business throughout the Caribbean.
• Identify and realise synergies and efficiencies across the region.
• Build an organisational culture aligned with Inchcape’s values, principles and standards.
• Interpret key financial indicators, summarise performance data and guide business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations to minimise risk and protect the company’s reputation.
• Motivate teams to commit to the organisation’s strategy and values.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong automotive retail industry knowledge.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience leading a business unit or major functional program, preferably with full P&L responsibility.
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional priorities at senior leadership level.
• Entrepreneurial general‑management mindset with a track record of executing commercial strategy.
• Experience in a large‑scale, fast‑paced, process‑driven environment is a plus.
