Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO)

About the role

The Hive Careers is looking for a Deputy Chief Executive Officer to partner with the CEO in driving growth, financial performance and operational excellence across Jamaica and the wider Caribbean. This senior executive position will translate strategy into measurable results, focusing on revenue generation, protection and cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CEO to execute strategic and commercial priorities.
• Lead revenue generation through business development, enterprise sales, strategic partnerships and market expansion.
• Protect existing revenue via client retention, account management and commercial oversight.
• Drive cost‑optimization and operational efficiency initiatives to improve margins.
• Oversee Sales, Operations, Talent Delivery and other key functions, monitoring P&L, budgets, forecasts and KPIs.
• Strengthen enterprise client relationships and lead high‑level commercial negotiations.
• Identify new markets, service offerings and revenue opportunities in the Caribbean region.
• Implement scalable processes, technology adoption, automation and performance management.
• Build and develop high‑performing leadership teams and manage business risks.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive senior leadership experience in general management, commercial leadership, operations or related fields.
• Proven ownership of P&L, revenue and profitability targets.
• Track record of growing businesses, markets, teams or service lines.
• Experience managing enterprise clients, strategic partnerships and executive‑level stakeholders.
• Strong commercial, financial, strategic and operational acumen.
• Experience leading multiple business functions and senior teams.
• Background in staffing, outsourcing, consulting or workforce solutions is preferred.
• Regional or multi‑country leadership experience in the Caribbean is an advantage.
