About the role
Brydens is hiring a temporary assistant butcher for a 6-month assignment in Bridgetown, with possible renewal. The role covers cutting and preparing meat for deliveries and walk-in customers, keeping the butcher room clean and hygienic, moving products between freezers, processing areas, stockrooms and delivery vehicles, and assisting with receiving shipments and stocktaking.
Required profile
- Previous butchery or meat preparation experience (essential)
- Reliable, hardworking attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Required skills
- Experience operating a meat band saw (essential)
- Knowledge of safe meat handling and food hygiene
