Talent Acquisition Officer – Sales Support

About the role

Sagicor Life Inc. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Officer to support the Group‑wide Talent Acquisition unit for its Sales team in Barbados. The role involves coordinating interview scheduling, candidate assessment, and onboarding processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post job vacancies for Sales positions across the Group.
• Assist with conducting interviews, selection, and offer processes for Sales candidates.
• Coordinate interview logistics, including venue booking, catering, and online platforms.
• Contact shortlisted candidates, provide interview instructions, and manage related documentation.
• Administer interview tests, psychometric evaluations, and share results with managers.
• Complete new‑hire data entry in the Talent Management System and support smooth onboarding.
• Compile payroll information for new and transitioning hires and close requisitions.
• Participate in recruitment marketing initiatives and perform administrative TAU functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Management Studies, or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of recruitment experience in a financial sales environment.
• Knowledge of labour laws, pensions act, and insurance regulations.
• Strong human relations skills and ability to interact at all organisational levels.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer software packages, including spreadsheet and word‑processing applications.
• Familiarity with HR systems and administration.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
