Remote Appointment Setter Intern – Caribbean

About the role

This 3‑month remote internship supports the sales and client acquisition process for an insurance and financial services practice. You will gain hands‑on experience in lead generation, outbound outreach, and appointment scheduling while working with prospects across Barbados, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls and contact leads via approved channels, including WhatsApp.
• Introduce prospective clients to insurance and financial planning services.
• Qualify prospects using established criteria and schedule appointments based on availability.
• Confirm, follow up, and reschedule appointments as needed.
• Maintain accurate prospect and appointment records in CRM or spreadsheets.
• Track calls, conversations, follow‑ups, and outcomes.
• Meet daily and weekly activity targets and provide feedback on common objections.
• Collaborate with the sales representative to ensure a smooth handover of qualified appointments.

Required profile

• Strong lead‑generation and prospecting abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident telephone manner.
• Customer‑service mindset and ability to build rapport quickly.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage time and priorities effectively.
• Comfortable working remotely with reliable internet access.
• Basic proficiency with email, spreadsheets, WhatsApp, and a CRM system.
