Night Auditor

About the role

The Night Auditor at Ocean Hotels is the Manager on Duty during the overnight period, responsible for ensuring smooth hotel operations from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. This role combines front‑desk service, financial reconciliation, and property management to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform front‑desk duties in line with AAA 5‑Diamond and LQA standards, including check‑ins, check‑outs, telephone handling and reservations.
• Reconcile all daily transactions: front‑desk, reservations, accounts receivable, restaurant sales and credit‑card reports.
• Prepare and submit end‑of‑day and property audit reports for each shift.
• Act as the on‑site manager, addressing guest inquiries, handling incidents and leading any night‑time staff.
• Maintain accurate guest folios and ensure all postings are correct.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently without supervision.
• Maturity to handle unexpected situations during night hours.
• Leadership capability to guide and support other team members.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of a Property Management System (PMS).
• Basic accounting knowledge for transaction reconciliation.
• Familiarity with the Maestro PMS platform.
