Insurance Administrator

About the role

Strategic Risk Solutions Inc is seeking an Insurance Administrator to provide high‑quality administrative support for its insurance operations in Barbados.

Key responsibilities

• Administer policies for a portfolio of commercial (re)insurance companies using a SaaS insurance platform, including policy updates and claim processing.
• Liaise with customers, agents, and other stakeholders to address inquiries, coverage questions, and claim issues.
• Assist in implementing efficient administrative procedures to streamline operations and improve service.
• Handle accounts payable, online cash management, and related banking functions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cash and investment accounting statements and reconciliations.
• On‑board bank and investment accounts for new client engagements and coordinate with financial institutions on payment queries.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations for client bank and investment accounts.
• Carry out other administrative tasks related to policy administration as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Relevant training and experience in a similar professional environment.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.
• Self‑starter, motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven ability to build lasting relationships with employees and clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using PowerBI for reporting and analysis.
