Director, Marketing & Communications – Caribbean

About the role

The Director, Marketing & Communications – Gallagher Caribbean will report to the Vice President, Brand Marketing & Communications, Canada & Caribbean. This senior leader will design and execute the regional marketing and communications strategy to drive business growth, strengthen market positioning, and enhance stakeholder engagement across the Caribbean.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the regional marketing and communications strategy aligned with business growth and market expansion objectives.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO, Area Presidents and the executive leadership team on brand positioning, communications and market opportunities.
• Drive measurable commercial outcomes through initiatives that support lead generation, client retention, revenue growth and ROI.
• Collaborate with regional business leaders to identify growth opportunities and translate market insights into revenue‑generating marketing initiatives and strategic partnerships.
• Manage corporate communications, executive messaging, public relations, media engagement and stakeholder communications.
• Oversee the development and management of the regional marketing plan and budget, ensuring effective resource allocation.
• Leverage market intelligence, customer insights and performance analytics to inform strategic decision‑making and optimise marketing effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Extensive experience in senior marketing and communications roles, preferably within the Caribbean region.
• Proven ability to advise senior leadership and influence executive decision‑making.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using data‑driven performance management.
