Corporate Project Engineer

About the role

The Corporate Project Engineer will support Sol markets in planning, developing and executing terminals, retail and commercial infrastructure projects safely, on time and within budget. The role works closely with internal stakeholders such as RMs, GMs, Operations Managers, Accounting, Sourcing and Legal.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HSE initiatives, demonstrating a culture of safety across all projects and stakeholders.
• Plan, design and execute infrastructure projects through contractors, managing scoping, budgeting (FEED), bidding, procurement and hand‑over.
• Prepare and evaluate tender documents, liaise with Sourcing and manage CAPEX budgets.
• Track project budgets, timelines, report progress and review contractor invoices.
• Assist with technical facilities audits and ensure proper asset categorisation with Accounting.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or Industrial fields.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in the petroleum industry.
• Strong contract management, negotiation and time‑management abilities.
• Desire to achieve professional engineer membership.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience with MS Project and engineering‑specific budgeting, contract and procurement tools.
