Corporate Project Engineer – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

The Corporate Project Engineer will support Sol markets by planning, developing and executing terminal, retail and commercial infrastructure projects safely, on time and within budget. The role works closely with internal stakeholders such as RMs, GMs, Operations Managers, Accounting, Sourcing and Legal.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HSE initiatives and promote a culture of safety across all projects.
• Plan, design and manage infrastructure projects from scoping, FEED budgeting, tendering, procurement to execution and hand‑over.
• Prepare and evaluate tender documents, manage CAPEX budgets and track project costs.
• Coordinate with contractors, review invoices and ensure proper asset categorisation with Accounting.
• Conduct technical audits of facilities and support customer inspections.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or Industrial).
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in the petroleum sector.
• Strong contract management, negotiation and time‑management abilities.
• Desire to attain professional engineer membership.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project.
• Experience with engineering budgeting, contract and procurement tools.
