Bridge/Structural Engineer – 5-10 Years Experience

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Bridge/Structural Engineer with 5‑10 years of experience to join our Bridge and Structures Design Group. The role offers involvement in all phases of bridge and structural projects, from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preliminary and final design of bridges and related structures.
• Create structural detailing using AutoCAD.
• Conduct bridge inspections and condition assessments.
• Develop specifications and prepare contract documents.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including highway design, traffic engineering, and permitting.
• Support project delivery from concept through construction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineering license in Rhode Island or ability to obtain within six months.
• 5–10 years of relevant bridge and/or structural engineering experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
