Aviation Sales Support

About the role

Sol Aviation Services Limited is looking for an Aviation Sales Support person to support its Aviation Sales Team across Global, Special Carriers and General Aviation customers in all SASL locations. The role reports to the General Manager and covers business development support, customer relations, pricing, invoicing and credit administration.

Key responsibilities

• Complete and keep accurate sales documentation and help report sales data and analyse customer portfolios and market segments
• Build strong customer relationships, support negotiations and tender processes, and enter customer details into the Great Plains (GP) system
• Answer customer calls and handle queries, complaints, fueling notifications and invoicing errors within 24 hours
• Help with promotional events and distribute brand and other materials to customers
• Communicate price changes and third-party charges (e.g. airport fuel tax) to customers and airfield operations, and enter approved changes in GP
• Monitor customer unit margins and ensure customer EDI requests are fully satisfied
• Enter ADRs accurately, run the ADR validation and GP invoicing process including on weekends, and support the investigation and resolution of invoicing errors and disputes
• Resend receipts and invoices, and resolve related customer queries
• Monitor account receivables and credit limits, alert sales reps to late payments and advise credit stops, and help manage pre-payment accounts and collect outstanding amounts

Required profile

• Minimum associate degree in a business-related discipline
• Self-starter with a high level of self-assurance and ability to work in a virtual team
• Excellent relationship skills, customer-focused and service-oriented
• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel
• Credit management, negotiation, analytical and information management skills
