Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will support the F&B Director in overseeing all food and beverage outlets at a five‑star all‑inclusive resort in Barbados. This hands‑on leader thrives on the floor, engages directly with guests and team members, and ensures the high standards expected of a Caribbean luxury property.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of restaurants, bars, and service outlets, maintaining brand standards and guest satisfaction.
• Coach, mentor and develop department leaders and frontline staff to foster a high‑performing, multicultural team.
• Monitor financial performance, labour costs and operational efficiencies, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Drive employee engagement, accountability and performance through clear communication and coaching.
• Collaborate with senior resort leadership to continuously enhance the overall guest experience.

Required profile

• Previous food & beverage leadership experience within a resort environment, preferably in the Caribbean.
• Strong leadership presence with a passion for operational involvement and guest engagement.
• Proven ability to manage large, multicultural teams and balance performance with employee culture.
• Understanding of luxury hospitality standards and all‑inclusive resort operations.
