Advisor – Insurance & Financial Services

About the role

The Advisor role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Lower Collymore Rock. You will provide personalized insurance and financial guidance, helping clients understand and select products that support their long‑term goals and protect their families and businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with prospective and existing clients to assess their needs and propose suitable solutions.
• Prepare proposals, follow up on policy maintenance, and ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
• Engage in business development activities such as networking, community outreach, and referrals to grow a sustainable client portfolio.
• Maintain accurate documentation, comply with regulatory and company standards, and collaborate with internal teams.

Required profile

• Strong client relationship and advisory skills, including active listening and empathy.
• Sales and business development capabilities, including prospecting and pipeline management.
• Excellent organization, time‑management, and record‑keeping abilities.
• Professional written and verbal communication, confident in one‑on‑one and small‑group settings.
• Basic financial literacy with comfort working with insurance and investment products; prior experience in financial services or insurance is an asset.
• Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and a client‑first mindset with commitment to ethical practices.
• Proficiency with standard office software and digital tools for client management and reporting.
• Secondary or post‑secondary education in business, finance, economics, or related field; relevant certifications or licenses advantageous.
