Temporary Medical and Pathology Administrative Assistant

About the role

Our client, a well‑established private healthcare organization, is seeking a professional and detail‑oriented Medical & Pathology Administrative Assistant on a temporary basis. The assignment will run for approximately two weeks, with the possibility of extending to one month, providing essential reception and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide reception, telephone, and email support for the laboratory and medical office.
• Assist with specimen accessioning, data entry, and maintain accurate records.
• Support Laboratory Information System (LIS) administration and distribute reports and correspondence.
• Assist with billing, general office administration, and uphold patient confidentiality.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 CXC/CSEC subjects, including English A (Grade 1 or 2).
• Typing speed of 50–60 words per minute.
• At least 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in a medical, laboratory, or hospital setting.
• Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
