Pool & Beach Ambassador

About the role

The Pool & Beach Ambassador ensures that all pools, whirlpools and beach areas are maintained to the highest standards while delivering professional, high‑quality programmes and activities for hotel guests. Working under the Senior Pool & Beach Ambassador and the Pool & Beach Supervisor, you will create a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment that aligns with AAA 5‑Diamond and LQA benchmarks.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, using their names and anticipating their needs in line with AAA 5‑Diamond standards.
• Provide rolled towels, clean chairs, beach loungers, umbrellas and complimentary water where available.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests and complaints, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Prepare all pools and whirlpools before opening, ensuring correct temperature and water quality.
• Maintain clean, safe pool decks, jacuzzis and beach areas, removing debris, hazardous items and foreign objects.
• Refresh beach loungers after each use, replacing towels and cleaning surfaces.
• Assist guests with directions or escort services as required.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to test and treat pool water, documenting results.
• Ensure all equipment (loungers, side tables, umbrellas) is in good condition and ready for guest use.
