Manager - Financial Reporting

About the role

We are looking for a highly numerate, self‑motivated professional to join our Group management team as Manager – Financial Reporting. Based at the GEL Head Office in Barbados, you will support the Catering Division and work closely with the Group Financial Controller.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Cluster Financial Controllers across GCG.
• Coordinate with Group auditors to resolve audit issues promptly.
• Review and validate all financial and budget reports before submission to Head Office.
• Liaise between Group Finance and Divisional Finance teams, ensuring accurate accounting and reporting.
• Assist the Group Financial Controller in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual management reports.
• Support the annual group audit and the preparation of the annual report.

Required profile

• Professional accounting designation (ACCA, CGA/CPA).
• 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience in a senior finance role.
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and their application.
• Excellent analytical, leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

• Proficiency with accounting software packages.
