General Manager

About the role

The General Manager will lead Courtesy Garage Ltd, a subsidiary of Goddard Enterprises Ltd, overseeing all aspects of the automotive dealership and service operations across the Caribbean. Reporting to the CEO of the Automotive Division, the role combines strategic direction, financial stewardship, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and communicate a clear vision aligned with the division’s objectives.
• Design and implement short‑term and long‑term business strategies in collaboration with senior management.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, and cost‑control while managing budgets and resources.
• Streamline operations, optimise processes, and uphold quality standards across all departments.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators for sales, service, and operations.
• Identify new business opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and enhance brand visibility.
• Mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Prepare mid‑year performance reports and oversee preventative maintenance plans for plant equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior management, preferably within the automotive or related service industry.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage financial performance and budgets.
• Excellent communication skills and a results‑oriented mindset.
