About the role
Rent It.BB Events Inc., a Barbados event rental company offering tents, furniture, linens, tableware and décor for weddings, parties, corporate functions and graduations, is hiring a part-time, on-site Cleaning & Linen Care Assistant. The role keeps rental items clean and presentable so events run smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Clean, sort and prepare linens and other rental items to company standards
- Wash, dry, fold and organize linens
- Inspect items for damage or stains
- Maintain cleanliness in storage and work areas
- Assist with inventory checks and replenish supplies
- Support the wider operations team in preparing orders on time
Required profile
- Ability to perform safe manual handling, including lifting, carrying and moving linens and rental items
- Punctual, trustworthy and dependable
- Attention to detail and reliability in maintaining cleanliness and quality control
- Willingness to work on-site, stand for long periods and work flexible hours
- Previous experience in cleaning, hospitality, event services or a related field is an asset
