Aviation Recruitment & Admissions Officer

About the role

The Aviation Recruitment & Admissions Officer will manage the full recruitment, admissions and pre‑arrival onboarding journey for SCHSBM’s aviation programmes. You will turn prospective‑student interest into qualified applications, accepted offers and enrolled students across Barbados, the Caribbean and selected international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Execute approved recruitment activities for aviation programmes in target markets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, aviation clubs and other recruitment partners.
• Serve as the primary contact for prospective students, advising on programme routes, entry requirements, fees and travel considerations.
• Manage day‑to‑day progression of leads, keeping accurate CRM records and ensuring disciplined follow‑up.
• Guide applicants through documentation, assessment, offer, deposit, registration and commencement stages.
• Coordinate aviation aptitude assessments (e.g., ADAPT) and related communications.
• Support regional and international applicants with travel and pre‑arrival information.
• Organise webinars, open days, school visits, career fairs and other recruitment events.
• Monitor recruitment performance and provide pipeline, enrolment and revenue data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Higher Education Administration, International Education, Tourism, Hospitality Management, Communications or related field.
• Post‑graduate diploma or Master’s degree is advantageous.
• Professional certification or formal training in student recruitment, admissions, enrolment management, sales, CRM or international student advising is desirable.
