Accounts Receivable Manager – Cash Applications

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Manager – Cash Applications will lead the Cash Applications team, ensuring accurate processing of payments, timely reporting, and compliance with internal controls. This position reports on key metrics and supports audit activities while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Cash Applications team.
• Resolve cash application issues and payment discrepancies.
• Execute month‑end closing activities and produce management reports.
• Track, analyze, and report monthly operational metrics.
• Maintain customer remittance records and related databases.
• Coordinate support for internal and external audits.
• Perform AR reconciliations and process miscellaneous billing functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience.
• Hands‑on knowledge of cash application processes.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated and detail‑oriented.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
• Experience with SAP and JD Edwards (JDE) ERP systems is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
