Accounts Receivable Collections Manager

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Collections Manager will lead the Collections team, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding receivables and maintaining accurate reporting. This position is responsible for driving process efficiency, enforcing policies, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Collections team, including Senior Analysts, Analysts, and Assistants.
• Establish, maintain, and report productivity and collection metrics.
• Train team members and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Oversee invoice status reporting and timely resolution of customer invoices.
• Communicate trends, issues, and escalations to senior management.
• Review collection balances for potential write‑offs or escalations.
• Lead special projects and ad‑hoc reporting as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in deductions research and resolution.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated, and detail‑oriented.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, changing environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (including PivotTables and formulas such as V‑Lookup).
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• SAP ERP system.
• JD Edwards (JDE) ERP system.
