Technical Solutions Administrator

About the role

The Technical Solutions Administrator will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of Unicomer Barbados’ network and systems infrastructure. This role supports LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless environments while maintaining Windows Server and Active Directory services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless network infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve infrastructure issues.
• Implement security best practices, system updates, and patch management.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and systems issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and assist with IT projects and deployments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of experience in network or systems administration.
• Experience in a commercial or retail environment is an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
