Supply & Procurement Officer for UNICEF Caribbean MCO

About the role

The Supply & Procurement Officer supports efficient, compliant procurement, supply chain and logistics services across UNICEF's Caribbean Multi‑Country Office. Based in Bridgetown, the role contributes to governance, emergency preparedness and accountability in a complex Small Island Developing States environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical analysis and support to strengthen procurement governance and supply chain performance across twelve Caribbean programme countries.
• Assist in preparing submissions to the Contracts Review Committee and ensure compliance, transparency and accountability.
• Support programme teams, operations colleagues and implementing partners with routine supply procedures, logistics and inventory management.
• Contribute to emergency supply and logistics preparedness and monitor supply chain compliance.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or related field.
• Minimum of one year relevant experience at national or international level in supply, logistics, procurement or contracting.
• Fluency in English; additional UN language or local language is an asset.

Required skills

• Good analytical and negotiating skills.
• Ability to manage and monitor financial and material resources.
• Basic knowledge of supply chain processes, public procurement principles and UNICEF programme context.
