Seasonal Room Attendant

About the role

As a Seasonal Room Attendant at Fairmont Royal Pavilion, you will play a key part in delivering the resort’s renowned luxury experience. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness, elegance, and comfort, ensuring every guest feels truly cared for during their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guestrooms to Fairmont standards, including floors, walls, furniture, and fixtures.
• Clean bathrooms, restock linen, amenities, and ice‑buckets.
• Strip and remake beds according to hotel procedures.
• Collect garbage and keep trolleys, cubby holes, and corridors tidy.
• Report maintenance defects, guest comments, or complaints to the Supervisor.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and special room requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory of cleaning supplies and report low stock levels.
• Follow safety, security, health, and sanitation protocols.
• Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure they meet Fairmont quality standards before guest occupancy.
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping team members and other departments to coordinate room readiness.

Required profile

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar hospitality role is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently, manage time effectively, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional, courteous, and guest‑focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
