Project Engineer – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

The Corporate Project Engineer will support Sol markets by planning, developing and executing infrastructure projects safely, on time and within budget. This role works closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HSE initiatives and promote a safety‑first culture across all projects.
• Plan, design and manage terminals, retail and commercial infrastructure projects through contractors.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle from scoping, budgeting (FEED), tendering, procurement to execution and handover.
• Manage CAPEX budgets, track project costs, approve contractor invoices and ensure proper asset categorisation.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or Industrial).
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in the petroleum sector.
• Strong contract management, negotiation and time‑management skills.
• Desire to achieve professional engineer membership.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience with MS Project and engineering‑specific budgeting and procurement tools.
