IT Support Technician

About the role

The IT Support Technician provides end‑user computer assistance, handling increasingly complex issues while maintaining high levels of customer service. You will become familiar with Gildan’s IT infrastructure and support both desktop and mobile environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver continuous end‑user support, diagnosing and resolving software and hardware incidents.
• Gain in‑depth knowledge of the company’s IT infrastructure, including account management and security permissions.
• Gather and analyse data for reported incidents and document all actions in the service‑desk system.
• Install, configure and maintain new IT systems, software, services and mobile devices.
• Maintain a first‑class level of customer service, ensuring issues are addressed efficiently and professionally.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2‑5 years of experience in an IT Service Desk environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Sound knowledge of Windows environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, teamwork and results‑oriented mindset.
