Inventory Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an Inventory Coordinator to manage food, beverage and non‑food stock for our Airport Dining operation in Barbados. The role is based at the central storage location and supports multiple airport outlets, ensuring accurate, traceable movement of inventory while meeting airport security and food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Order, receive and verify all inventory against purchase orders, checking quantity, quality, price and specifications.
• Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, shortages or overages promptly.
• Record all inventory movements – receipts, transfers, returns and adjustments – in the ERP/inventory management system.
• Maintain up‑to‑date stock records for food, beverage, disposables, packaging and operating supplies.
• Allocate inventory to the correct outlet, cost centre or department for accurate costing and reporting.
• Coordinate timely distribution of stock from the central location to multiple airport dining outlets and obtain acknowledgment of receipt.
• Monitor par levels and trigger replenishment to avoid stock‑outs.
• Ensure all handling complies with airport security, food safety and company quality standards.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented with strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural airport environment.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, warehouse staff and outlet managers.
• Experience in inventory control or stock management, preferably in food service or aviation.
