Finance Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Finance Director to lead the financial management and performance of our insurance and investment businesses. Reporting to the CFO, you will work closely with senior leadership to provide accurate financial insight and ensure strong governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day finance operations, translating business objectives into financial plans and performance targets.
• Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting, long‑term planning and provide variance analysis.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate consolidated statements.
• Supervise insurance finance, monitoring premiums, claims, reserves and underwriting performance.
• Direct investment accounting, reporting portfolio performance and ensuring compliance with standards.
• Control treasury and cash management, optimizing liquidity and monitoring funding requirements.
• Support capital planning, balance‑sheet management and solvency reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior finance leadership within insurance and investment environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to translate strategy into financial actions.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate insights to executive teams.
