Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

We are looking for an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to shape the financial strategy of a diversified insurance and investment organization. The CFO will be a key member of the executive team, advising the CEO/President and Board on all financial matters.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall financial strategy, aligning it with corporate objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long‑term planning and performance monitoring across insurance, investment and corporate operations.
• Oversee insurance finance, including premiums, claims, reserves, loss ratios and underwriting profitability.
• Provide financial oversight of the investment portfolio, working with the CIO and Investment Committee on strategy, risk‑adjusted returns and liquidity.
• Establish strong financial governance, reporting, KPI dashboards and executive decision‑making frameworks.
• Partner with actuarial, underwriting, risk and treasury teams to manage capital, solvency and regulatory reporting.

Required profile

• Extensive senior finance experience in a regulated financial‑services environment.
• Proven ability to translate corporate strategy into financial plans and drive value creation.
• Strong commercial and investment acumen with a track record of leading large finance teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
