Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

The Business Intelligence Analyst will design, develop, document, test and assure quality of enterprise‑wide data and analytics solutions. Working closely with internal business teams, IT functional analysts and the BI development team, the analyst supports key functions such as Sales, Distribution, Marketing, Manufacturing and Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business data and deliver analytics solutions using visualization tools like Tableau.
• Translate business logic into SQL queries for reporting and analysis.
• Create technical specifications for data flows, transformations and related processes.
• Document solution designs, including architecture, scheduling, monitoring, maintenance and support requirements.
• Conduct reviews, walkthroughs and solution testing to meet SDLC and PMO guidelines.
• Participate in defining company‑wide data cleansing rules and provide post‑implementation support as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or a similar data‑focused role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SQL, including writing and optimizing queries.
• Experience building dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI and/or advanced Excel.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling and transformation logic.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and translate business needs into technical solutions within an SDLC or project‑based environment.
