B2B Marketing & Business Communications Consultant (Remote)

About the role

IDB Invest is seeking a B2B Marketing & Business Communications Consultant to support its Business Planning team. The consultant will help position the institution’s transactions, events and award‑winning projects across Latin America and the Caribbean, enhancing visibility for external audiences, clients and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver communication materials for business transactions, highlighting financial innovation and development impact.
• Maintain an inventory of high‑profile awards, support applications, track outcomes and build a knowledge base for future submissions.
• Coordinate business events, managing agendas, logistics, invitations, vendors and stakeholder engagement, and produce post‑event reports.
• Maintain accurate stakeholder contact records and update event‑related information before and after each event.
• Support marketing campaigns and content initiatives that reinforce IDB Invest’s positioning in the region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, International Relations or related field; additional certifications in B2B marketing or event management are a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in B2B marketing and communications, preferably within multilaterals, development banks or large corporations.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken); knowledge of French or Portuguese is advantageous.
