About the role
The Supply & Procurement Officer supports efficient and compliant delivery of procurement, supply chain and logistics services across UNICEF's Caribbean Multi‑Country Office. Based in Bridgetown, the role provides technical analysis, strengthens procurement governance and contributes to emergency preparedness.
Key responsibilities
- Provide procurement and contracting support, including preparation of submissions to the Contracts Review Committee.
- Assist programme teams, operations colleagues and implementing partners with supply procedures across twelve Caribbean countries.
- Support logistics and inventory management, emergency supply preparedness and supply chain monitoring.
- Deliver technical support, capacity development and coordination within the Operations Management working group.
Required profile
- University degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Contract/Commercial Law, International Development or related field.
- Minimum of one year relevant experience at national or international level in supply, logistics, procurement or contracting.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of another UN language or local language is an asset.
Required skills
- Analytical and negotiating skills.
- Ability to manage and monitor financial and material resources.
- Basic knowledge of supply chain management processes and UNICEF procurement principles.
